We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team at MOTREX Co. Ltd. in Muncie, Indiana. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment in our lead battery recycling facility.

• Perform electrical construction, maintenance, and repair of conduit runs, wire pulls, terminations, and electrical component installations.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust all plant equipment, including PLCs, control circuits, and primary power.
• Maintain electrical systems, including 480v three-phase, control power, MA signals, AC and DC circuits, motor starters, and switchgear repairs.
• Perform electrical equipment repairs and alterations efficiently.
• Work independently and shift priorities with unexpected events.
• Be proficient in shop mathematics and blueprint reading.
• Have good communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Demonstrated proficiency in understanding hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical operations.
• Knowledge of 480v three-phase, control power, MA signals, AC and DC circuits, including motor starters and switchgear repairs.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Journeyman's card or 2-year technical degree or 4 years of demonstrated experience in an industrial environment.

Employees must be clean-shaven and required to wear full-face respirators and earplugs while inside the facility. Employees are required to wear company-provided uniforms and change clothes in an open locker room. Will also be required to take a shower in an open shower room prior to dressing in street clothes at the end of each shift.
