Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Community Manager, the Housekeeper/Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and attractiveness of the common areas of the assigned property. This includes cleaning apartment homes upon move-out to 'move-in' standards and performing various tasks related to grounds maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain common areas, including restrooms, hallways, and community spaces
  • Perform make-ready cleaning of apartment homes
  • Water plants and maintain landscaping
  • Assist with emergency maintenance situations and after-hours coverage
  • Participate in a standby emergency schedule for evening, weekend, and holiday coverage
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in housekeeping, maintenance, or a related field preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed
Working Conditions:

The Housekeeper/Porter will work in an outdoor environment, exposed to various weather conditions. The position requires frequent walking, standing, and bending, as well as the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
