About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team at Motion Recruitment. As a key member of our cloud infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement CI/CD Pipelines: Utilize Azure DevOps to streamline the software development lifecycle and ensure the continuous delivery of high-quality applications.
  • Collaborate with Development and Operations Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to automate and streamline build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Manage and Monitor Azure Infrastructure: Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security of Azure infrastructure.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep to design and implement cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop and Maintain Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for DevOps processes and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Identify and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
  • Monitor System Performance: Implement proactive measures to prevent downtime and ensure system reliability.
  • Stay Current with Azure DevOps and Cloud Technologies: Continuously improve your skills and knowledge to stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a focus on Azure DevOps
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools, including Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar platforms
  • Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) using ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep
  • Solid understanding of Azure services and cloud architecture
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
