At Capability Health, we offer a unique opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in the North Las Vegas Area. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $125,000 per year.
About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to work in our Early Intervention program, utilizing a parent educational model to help clients develop or regain physical or mental functioning. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing programs to improve speech delays, conditions, and feeding issues, as well as performing administrative duties to support program goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing therapy programs to improve speech and language skills in clients.
- Conducting initial evaluations and re-evaluations to assess client needs and determine the effectiveness of therapy programs.
- Preparing reports and attending multidisciplinary case meetings to discuss client progress and treatment plans.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical and administrative records in accordance with professional standards and agency policies.
- Participating in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Certification by the National Board for Speech-Language Pathology (NBSP).
- Valid/active SLP license from the State of Nevada.
- CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Valid driver's license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).
