Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at R.E. Garrison Trucking, Inc. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for performing engine repairs, troubleshooting engine codes, and ensuring the overall maintenance of our fleet of trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake system repairs
  • Diagnose and repair complex engine problems, including electrical system and ABS system issues
  • Conduct thorough inspections of trailers and perform necessary repairs
  • Collaborate with other technicians to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Diesel Mechanics preferred
  • Previous experience as a diesel mechanic or service technician highly preferred
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
