About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services Department at HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital. As a Same Day Surgery Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the high-quality care of our patients in a surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- You will assess, plan, and evaluate the care of intra-operative patients, providing clinical expertise to ensure efficient and effective care.
- You will assist surgeons in operative procedures, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- You will maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including test results and examination findings.
- You will administer medications as prescribed by physicians, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
- Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse, with compact licensure accepted if applicable.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting is highly desirable.
- Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is mandatory.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and excellent interpersonal communication skills are essential.
