Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and organize treatment areas for patient assessments.
  • Sanitize examination rooms following patient consultations.
  • Conduct patient interviews to collect medical history information.
  • Document patient medical histories, vital signs, and test results in their health records.
  • Perform basic screening procedures such as measuring height and weight, and checking blood pressure.
  • Carry out clinical tasks including blood draws, stitch removals, and dressing changes.
  • Manage and procure medical supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure the sterilization and upkeep of medical instruments.
  • Handle the safe disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Assist healthcare providers during examinations by supplying necessary tools and materials.
  • Communicate with patients regarding test results, medications, and physician instructions.
  • Execute additional relevant tasks as required.
  • Exhibit flexibility to adapt to changing responsibilities as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience: At least 2 years; a combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Certifications and Licenses: CPR and first aid certifications are required; Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification is highly desirable.

Skills Required:
