Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in post-acute facilities, including administering medications, developing care plans, and collaborating with medical staff and residents.
  • Track outcomes and review options with physicians and other nursing staff to ensure the best possible care for patients.
  • Supervise nurses and support staff, providing training as needed to ensure compliance with facility policies and nursing standards.
  • Verify the accurate documentation of medical histories and interventions, and ensure that medical equipment is properly set up and monitored.
  • Inform residents and family members about best care options, and draw blood, urine, and other fluids for lab work as needed.
Requirements
  • Diploma from an approved nursing program.
  • 4+ months of post-acute or in-patient hospital care experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
