Epic Special Education Staffing is a leading provider of special education staffing solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Certified Occupational Therapist to join our team.

About the Role

We are partnering with an exceptional school district in Puyallup, WA to provide a contract School Certified Occupational Therapist for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy and a passion for working with students with special needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to students with special needs in a school setting
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to student care
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and develop strategies for improvement
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a School Certified Occupational Therapist within the last 3 years
  • Valid School Certified Occupational Therapist credential/license or in process in the state of practice
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced school environment and adapt to changing circumstances
