Position Title: Construction Project Coordinator

Location: On-site

Contract Duration: 6 month contract to hire

Compensation Range: $40-50/hr

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years in the construction industry
  • OSHA 30 Certification or willingness to obtain
  • Experience with a focus on MEP projects, balancing technical and tenant improvement work
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects across various phases
  • Familiarity with OSHPD documentation, including forms, applications, fees, and permits
  • Understanding of RFI, PCO, submittal, and invoicing procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills for project documentation
  • Ability to interpret drawings and schematics; skilled in planning, organizing, prioritizing, and completing tasks with precision and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in healthcare-related projects
  • Familiarity with PM Web
  • Knowledge of Primavera P6 for scheduling

Job Overview:

Insight Global is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to enhance their team. This role involves planning, organizing, and overseeing all document control and distribution processes for the Planning, Design & Construction (PD&C) Department. The coordinator will manage all project-related documentation exchanged with contractors, architects, and internal teams from the initial planning stages through to project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to monitor and update the status of construction projects at all phases.
  • Prepare meeting agendas and document minutes to summarize discussions and approved actions.
  • Organize, distribute, and archive project documents, including designs, drawings, specifications, estimates, and correspondence.
  • Review and amend project-related documentation as necessary, ensuring clarity and completeness.
  • Maintain effective communication with construction and contractor management teams.
  • Perform initial assessments of pay applications, change orders, and other construction documents.
  • Execute additional project engineering and management tasks as required.

Compensation may vary based on individual qualifications, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefits will commence on the 31st day of employment, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, HSA, FSA, DCFSA options, and access to a 401k retirement plan with employer matching. Paid sick leave and other time-off benefits will be provided as mandated by applicable law.
