About the Role

This is a float position between the Pre-Op, Prep and Hold, and PACU departments. PACU call rotation is required.

The Nurse Specialist provides and directs clinically appropriate patient care to an individual or group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and mission of the Department of Nursing, the organization, and the scope and standards set forth by the American Nurses Association (ANA).

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • A current Virginia State RN License
  • Basic Life Support BLS certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

We prefer candidates with experience in ICU, ED, and/or PACU settings.
