Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate independently at client sites utilizing a field service vehicle.
  • Concentrate on repairs for paving, asphalt, milling, quarry, crushing, and road construction machinery.
  • Restore and service equipment and its components.
  • Keep accurate records of time, parts, supplies, and external purchases.
  • Care for and maintain service vehicles and equipment.
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations as required.
  • Complete training provided by the company to acquire necessary licenses and certifications, including CDL, Wirtgen, Vogele, Hamm, Kleemann, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Experience or education in the maintenance and repair of machinery, diesel vehicles, or heavy trucks.
  • Preferred experience with Wirtgen, Hamm, Vogele, Kleeman, Roadtec, Bomag, Dynapac, Weiler, Aztec.
  • Familiarity with John Deere products is advantageous.
  • Possession of standard tools required for a diesel technician.
  • Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and similar software for diagnostics and repair documentation.
  • Strong analytical abilities to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record; must obtain a Class B CDL for continued employment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to travel for specialized paid training related to road construction and crushing equipment.
