Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Acro Service Corp is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance activities to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues, including AC and DC electrical equipment, motors, reducers, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Inspect and maintain equipment, including lubricators, hoses, FRL's, and coils, to ensure proper function and safety.
  • Analyze and solve electrical and mechanical problems, and assist manufacturing personnel with process-related issues.
  • Perform welding and fabrication projects, and make repairs to tools, workstations, and equipment.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and establish new PM activities as needed, utilizing eMaint CMMS system.
  • Participate in the installation of machinery and equipment, and plant rearrangements.
  • Implement continuous process improvement initiatives, adhering to Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety-related standards and practices.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Technical degree, Journeyman Card/License preferred.
  • 4+ years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Good electrical and mechanical skills, as demonstrated through an aptitude test.
  • Knowledge of and experience in PLC's, Controls, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Welding, and Fabricating.
  • Ability to write, troubleshoot, and edit programs for Allen Bradley PLC's a plus.
  • Electrical experience and knowledge in 480V 3-phase, 120V, DC voltage, high AMP loads, and Delta and Y systems.
  • Experience with troubleshooting/programming Fanuc & ABB robots.
  • Ability to read and interpret CAD mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Welding and fabrication experience.
  • Experience with OSHA safety standards for industrial machinery, local electrical codes, and Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
  • Ability to work overtime, off-shifts, weekends, holidays, and shutdowns when necessary.
  • Ability to travel when needed.
  • Fluent in MS Excel, Word, email, data entry, etc.
  • Exemplary attendance history.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple duties and meet deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated to manage through shift priorities and issues.
