The Inventory Control Specialist - Logistics Manager is a critical role within our organization, responsible for overseeing the management and control of all inventory products at our location. This position ensures that all processes and procedures surrounding inventory control are properly executed, aligning with US LBM's commitment to operational excellence.
About You- 1-3 years of experience in an operational staff position, preferably in inventory control or logistics
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong interpersonal communication, writing skills, and highly organized with excellent time management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Oversee the receiving process for all products at our location, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting
- Analyze and review special-order vendor back orders and customer back orders, implementing corrective actions as necessary
- Collaborate with the purchasing department to achieve optimal inventory levels, streamlining processes and procedures
- Manage damaged and defective products, working closely with supplier representatives and division purchasing to maximize value recovery
- Identify and manage surplus and obsolete inventory, implementing strategies to reduce waste and optimize storage capacity
- Project future usage changes, understanding their impact on the system and making informed decisions to maintain efficient operations
We offer a competitive salary, estimated at $55,000-$65,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
