Maintenance Technician Job Description

Job Summary:

Morgan Truck Body LLC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating equipment, replacing filters, and checking fluid levels.
  • Conduct repairs and replacements of equipment parts, as needed.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Meet safety and quality standards, as outlined by Morgan Truck Body LLC.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED preferred.
  • At least 2 years' experience working in a maintenance department associated with a manufacturing setting.
  • Possess knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Valid driver's license.

Working Conditions:

This job operates in a manufacturing plant environment. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk or hear. The team member frequently is required to stand (sometimes for extended periods); walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 35 pounds.
