Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Body Shop Mechanic to join our team at Ferman Collision Center North Tampa. As a key member of our collision repair team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle damages using advanced technology and techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Repair vehicles to manufacturer's standards and according to estimates
- Check parts against estimates and ensure proper parts are ordered and received
- Notify estimator of any additional repairs needed
- Road test vehicles when required
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of technical experience in automotive service
- High school graduate or equivalent
- ASE Certification(s) a plus
- Must supply own tools for general maintenance and repair work
- Electrical vehicle experience a plus
- Diesel vehicle experience a plus
- Able to work weekends a plus
- Able to work productively in a fast-paced environment
- Able to multi-task and follow complex instructions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bi-lingual with proficiency in both English and Spanish a plus
- Excellent technical and mechanical skills required
- Must be a team player and have the ability to work repetitively on complex tasks
- Must have a valid US government issued Driver's License, safe driving record and eligible to work in the United States
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background screening and drug test
