Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee nursing and support staff, ensuring operational excellence during assigned shifts.
  • Guarantee high-quality care for all residents by coordinating staffing requirements and daily coverage assessments.
  • Facilitate and engage in patient care delivery, adhering to physician directives and established healthcare standards.
  • Perform direct patient care activities as necessary to fulfill operational demands.
  • Communicate effectively with residents and their families to provide guidance, encourage involvement in care, and synchronize nursing efforts.
  • Identify and address potential risk management concerns.
  • Demonstrate clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with team members and groups.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Licensure/Certification: Current Florida RN license, renewed biennially; BLS certification.

Experience: Minimum of one year in a leadership role within a healthcare environment.
