Job Summary:

In this role, you'll work with senior technical team members and developers to conceptualize, design, and deliver innovative technology solutions. You'll interact with various technology, product, and business teams across MUFG.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex application design and programming activities in the latest technologies, including.Net, C#, MVC, Angular, MS SQL, MQ, AWS/Cloud services & infrastructure.
  • Integrate between on-premises and vendor-hosted applications.
  • Deliver projects that adhere to continuous delivery practices with automated unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing pipelines.
  • Collaborate with business users to develop on-demand reports using Data Warehouse Tools.
  • Provide technical guidance with a focus on user experience, security, app performance, and integrations.
  • Sustain and enhance the application's functionality, performance, and security standards.
  • Coordinate, integrate, and support third-party software solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
  • Programming experience in modern languages such as C#, Java, Python.
  • Experience with web technologies, including Restful Services, JavaScript, Asp.Net, MVC, Angular JS, Web API.
  • Experience in financial services/banking is preferred.
  • Experience developing at all levels of the application stack (front end/UI, middle/services, and back end/database).
  • Experience with Java and Java frameworks is preferred.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining RESTful APIs.
  • Experience designing data models and structures to store various kinds of data in different formats.
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python or Perl), OpenShift, AWS, or Azure.
  • Strong experience with RDBMS-based databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
  • Experience with virtualization and containerization is preferred.
  • Experience with system monitoring and troubleshooting in real-time.
  • Knowledgeable on Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.).

Compensation and Benefits:

The typical base pay range for this role is between $119K - $148K, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
