Job Summary:

The Utility Yard Driver is a critical role within our distribution center, responsible for safely moving trailers to ensure seamless operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for basic yard tractor operations, including dropping and pulling trailers in dock doors and parking them onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely maneuver and back semi-trailers
  • Safely enter/exit semi-trailer multiple times an hour, place and remove wheel chocks, lift and open doors
  • Follow safety procedures
  • Work a guaranteed 40 hours/week
  • Participate in regular safety training and meetings

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate of $25/hour, with opportunities for pay increases after 90 days and 1 year of employment
  • Guaranteed 40 hours/week
  • OT after 40 hours at paid time and half
  • Home daily, never leaving the yard
