Job DescriptionAs a Seasonal Respite Counselor at Rising Treetops at Oakhurst, you will be responsible for providing direct care and support to our clients with special needs. This includes assisting with daily living skills, activity participation, and ensuring the overall safety and well-being of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with dressing, bathing, feeding, toileting, and transferring.
• Become familiar with the care needs of each client by attending briefings and reading briefing outlines.
• Remain alert to individual needs, including toileting routines, medication schedules, allergies, and health precautions.
• Meet care needs with sensitivity and safely, using vinyl gloves, etc.

Requirements and QualificationsWe are seeking caring and energetic individuals who possess good interpersonal skills and a high level of emotional intelligence. Previous experience working with individuals with special needs is preferred, but not required. Candidates must also be able to lift more than 50 pounds and commit to living on-site during the respite season.
