Job Overview:
The Registered Nurse is tasked with delivering, coordinating, and overseeing nursing care for designated patients within the assigned unit.

The responsibilities of the Registered Nurse encompass, but are not limited to, the application of the Nursing process in patient care delivery, effective communication with all healthcare team members to ensure patient objectives are established and achieved promptly, and active participation in quality enhancement initiatives.

The Registered Nurse is also accountable for their professional development and for providing exceptional customer service, while addressing the physical and emotional needs of patients and their families.

Education Requirements:

⚬ Minimum:

Completion of a Registered Nurse Program

⚬ Preferred:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Licensure/Certification:
Current RN license in Pennsylvania, Healthcare Provider CPR certification, and Act 33/73 clearances. ACLS certification is required within two years of employment if assigned to critical care or telemetry units.

Experience:

⚬ Minimum:

Clinical rotation through educational program.

⚬ Preferred:

Prior experience in an acute care setting, Basic arrhythmia, telemetry experience.

Additional Requirements:
Comprehensive Crisis Management as per policy.
