Outdoor Playground Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to join our team as an Outdoor Playground Supervisor at Yukon Public Schools.

As a key member of our school community, you will play a vital role in ensuring student safety and well-being during lunch recess. Your ability to interact with students and staff in a positive manner is essential for fostering a productive and inclusive environment.

• Supervise students during outdoor and indoor recess periods, adhering to school building regulations and maintaining a safe atmosphere.
• Enforce rules and guidelines, promoting a culture of respect and responsibility among students.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure seamless transitions and effective communication.

This position requires flexibility and adaptability, as you may be required to work outdoors during favorable weather conditions and indoors during inclement weather. A valid criminal background check is necessary for this role, and additional duties may be assigned by the Principal.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with students, teachers, and parents.
• Able to enforce school policies and regulations while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. As an hourly, non-exempt employee, you will have opportunities for professional growth and development within our district.
