Job Summary

As a Mutuel Betting Transaction Specialist at Evangeline Downs Racetrack & Casino, you will be responsible for efficiently completing monetary transactions and associated documentation for mutuel betting in strict accordance with racing regulations and company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers and provide friendly, accurate, and efficient service.
  • Complete transactions and documentation in accordance with racing regulations and company policies and procedures.
  • Exchange all currency for Mutuel betting.
  • Maintain an accurate bank balance.
  • Transfer monies to and from work stations.
  • Operate ten-key adding machine.
  • Keep work area clean and supplies stocked.
Requirements

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and customer service skills. The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable about racing, gaming, and all applicable regulations. Prior experience in a similar position is preferred.

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Must be able to stand or sit for duration of shift.
