About the Role

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled Private Duty Nurse RN to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and manage patient care plans in accordance with physician orders and company policies
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians
  • Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on health promotion and disease management
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • TB skin test (current within the last 12 months)
  • 6 months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
  • Reliable transportation
