POSITION SUMMARY:

The Licensed Nursing Professional (LNP) is responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients, utilizing their education and clinical expertise. This role involves supervising nursing staff, providing direct patient care, assessing individual patient requirements, and meticulously documenting care plans.

Essential qualifications include completion of an accredited nursing program, a valid state nursing license, and prior experience in long-term acute care and rehabilitation settings. Experience in critical care is highly desirable. Proficiency in English and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications are mandatory.

Physical and Mental Demands:

  • Mobility: Walking, Standing, Kneeling, Sitting, Pushing, Bending, Squatting, Pulling, Reaching, Lifting (up to 50 lbs), Fine Motor Skills
  • Stress Tolerance: Moderate to High
Risk of Exposure:

Category I. Responsibilities may include exposure to blood, bodily fluids, or potential spills, necessitating adherence to safety protocols by healthcare professionals.

Tools and Equipment Utilized:

Blood pressure cuffs, stethoscopes, syringes, intravenous pumps, feeding pumps, hospital beds, scales, patient lifts, medical devices, and office equipment.

Required Certifications:

CPR Certification, ACLS Certification is recommended, Specialty Certification acknowledged, and PICC Line Insertion Certification recognized.
