**Job Summary**
At Baptist Memorial Health Care, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Admissions Representative to join our team in the Centralized Patient Access Center. As a key member of our admissions team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient registration of patients, while also providing exceptional customer service and support.
**Responsibilities**
• Register patients accurately and efficiently, ensuring data integrity and facilitating claims processing.
• Apply financial screening guidelines to ensure proper procedures are followed in obtaining upfront collections for the facility.
• Strive to expedite patient flow through prompt and courteous service.
• Complete assigned goals and objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including health screening.
**Requirements**
• Education: Associate's degree or 2 years of college-level courses.
• Experience: 1 year of business experience in a healthcare environment.
• Skills: Basic computer skills, ability to perform basic math computation, excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Licensure: CHA (Certified Healthcare Administrator) certification preferred.
