Shift: Nights / 6:45p-7:15a, 12x4, 48 hrs per week, will consider 36's,EOW

Length: 13 weeks (up to March 15, 2025)

Requirements:

  • NC License
  • Minimum 2 Years' Experience
  • Strong drip experience is a must
  • Experience with IV start, telemetry and conscious sedation
  • Must have experience with arterial lines and titrating vasoactive drips
  • Skills required: PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams, IV insulin protocols, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Heparin Protocols, CVA, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Tracheostomy Management, Isolation Precautions
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIH
Other Details:

  • Target Ratios: 3:1 or 4:1
  • Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty
  • Float Requirement: Floating required as needed to sister unit which is an ICCU also

Unit Details:

  • Unit: 102-11 - 5th West Intermediate Care Unit - Electronic
  • Bedside telemetry monitors with remote backup
  • Nurses must be able to recognize and treat dysrhythmias
  • A-lines, BIPAP's, chest tubes, trach's, there are no vents on unit
