Position Overview:

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing imaging procedures and generating high-quality images for radiological interpretation. This role involves adhering to departmental protocols and established standards of practice while ensuring patient care and safety.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting imaging procedures in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Monitoring and assessing patient conditions throughout the imaging process.
  • Maintaining proficiency in multiple imaging modalities beyond radiography.

Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications include an Associate's degree and training aligned with ARRT (R) certification. Required certifications include:

  • ARRT Certification in Radiography
  • ARRT Certification in CT or compliance with JC Diagnostic Imaging Standards and NC Regulations
  • Certification in additional modalities as mandated by regulatory agencies
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
