About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Seasonal Temp Part-Time Merchandise Associate to join our team at HomeGoods. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and adhering to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with customers and embodying our customer experience principles and philosophy.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.
  • Process customer purchases and returns accurately, counting change back to customers according to established procedures.
  • Promote credit and loyalty programs to customers.
  • Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
  • Maintain all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participate in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
  • Possesses strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Capable of multi-tasking.
  • Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive starting pay range of $16.00 to $16.50 per hour, as well as a range of benefits, including associate discount, EAP, smoking cessation, bereavement, 401(k) associate contributions, child care & cell phone discounts, pet & legal insurance, credit union, referral bonuses, and more.
