We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician to join our team at Tennova Healthcare - Clarksville. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on biomedical and life support medical devices.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical devices, including but not limited to: safety analyzers, defibrillators, incubators, and electrosurgical units.
- Use computerized maintenance systems to process work orders and update asset records.
- Order parts from vendors and manage outside work in a fast-paced environment.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of asset risk ranking philosophy and the Tier Level system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless maintenance and repair processes.
- 2-year degree in biomedical or equivalent military technical training.
- 2-years of direct in-house Biomedical Equipment Technician experience.
- Ability to use basic biomedical test equipment, including safety analyzers, defibrillators, and voltage meters.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- OEM training on medical devices.
- Experience with computerized maintenance systems.
- Ability to maintain and manage scheduled and corrective maintenance.
