Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician to join our team at Tennova Healthcare - Clarksville. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on biomedical and life support medical devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical devices, including but not limited to: safety analyzers, defibrillators, incubators, and electrosurgical units.
  • Use computerized maintenance systems to process work orders and update asset records.
  • Order parts from vendors and manage outside work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of asset risk ranking philosophy and the Tier Level system.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless maintenance and repair processes.
Requirements
  • 2-year degree in biomedical or equivalent military technical training.
  • 2-years of direct in-house Biomedical Equipment Technician experience.
  • Ability to use basic biomedical test equipment, including safety analyzers, defibrillators, and voltage meters.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • OEM training on medical devices.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance systems.
  • Ability to maintain and manage scheduled and corrective maintenance.
