Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Lake Health District. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for providing patient services using imaging modalities, performing radiographic procedures, and applying principles of radiation protection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides patient services using imaging modalities
  • Performs radiographic procedures
  • Applies principles of radiation protection
  • Evaluates radiographs for technical quality
  • Exercises professional judgment in the performance of procedures
  • Provides patient care essential to radiographic procedures
  • Recognizes patient conditions requiring immediate action and initiates life support measures
Requirements
  • Licensed radiology technologist sought
  • Minimum of an Associate's degree from an accredited school of x-ray technology or equivalent experience
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
  • Active/valid OR state license or able to obtain one
  • Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic technology training and meets the requirement for registration by ARRT
Preferred Qualifications
  • Mammography certification required
  • Computed Tomography (CT) certification preferred
  • CPR certification required
