Job Summary

USEMCO is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team. As a key member of our assembly team, you will be responsible for assembling lift stations and tank products with precision and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate various hand and power tools to assemble lift station valves, fittings, and pumps.
  • Pack tubes according to product specifications.
  • Assist with insulating and sheet metal work on asphalt tank products.
  • Assist with assembly of pumps and piping on asphalt tank products.
  • Work from assembly drawings, specifications, bills of material, and material specifications.
  • Clean lift stations and perform touch-up painting prior to shipment of product to customers.
  • Operate various hand and power tools to assemble and install parts on fuel tanks.
  • Position and fit up work utilizing cranes, hoists, or other positioning equipment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • 1 to 3 years of related experience in assembly preferred.
  • Ability to use simple shop mathematics to perform assembly work.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to read blueprints required.
