We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Strategist to join our team at ABB. As a Category Optimization Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and implementing procurement strategies that drive cost savings, improve quality, and enhance supplier relationships.

• Develop and Implement Procurement Strategies: Create and execute procurement plans that align with business objectives, ensuring optimal cost savings, quality, and delivery.
• Manage Supplier Relationships: Foster strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating agreements and ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Lead Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment and effective communication.

• 10+ Years of Procurement Experience: Proven track record in procurement, with a focus on indirect categories such as Temporary Labor, Master Service Provider, marketing, HR benefits, marketing, and professional services.
• Category Strategy Development: Experience in developing and implementing category strategies that drive business results.
• Supplier Negotiation and Management: Proven ability to negotiate agreements with suppliers and manage relationships to achieve business objectives.
• Work Authorization: Must have a valid work authorization that permits employment in the US.
