Position Overview:

Work Schedule:

Key Responsibilities of the Cherry Picker Operator:

  • Assist in receiving, handling, stocking, and storing goods within a warehouse or distribution center.
  • Full-time position requiring 40 hours of work per week.
  • Cross-training in various departments is required.
  • Operate cherry pickers or lift trucks to transport materials within the facility.
  • Execute order picking and packing tasks as necessary.
  • Support shipping and receiving operations, including loading and unloading of trucks.
  • Utilize pallet jacks for moving pallets of materials.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.

Additional Notes:
Employees may be assigned other related tasks to meet the organization's ongoing needs.

Qualifications for the Cherry Picker Operator:

  • Experience in loading, unloading, picking, packing, or moving goods in a warehouse setting; prior forklift or cherry picker experience is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work orders, and operational instructions.
  • Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn new technical skills; familiarity with MS-Office products and other software is advantageous.
  • Basic mathematical skills are required (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division); ability to compute rates and percentages is preferred.
  • Capability to compile routine reports and write correspondence.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and self-motivate to achieve assigned tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential.
  • A safety-conscious mindset is required.
