Addiction Therapist

BHSN is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an Addiction Counselor. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of our residents and contribute to the growth of our organization.

• Assist residents in maintaining sobriety and developing skills to transition to independent living
• Perform duties in accordance with OASAS Counselor Scope of Practice, including case management, documentation, and representation of BHSN
• Collaborate with residents to identify and address their needs, and provide support and guidance to help them achieve their goals
• Work closely with the BHSN team to ensure seamless delivery of services and support to residents

• High School Diploma or equivalency required
• Valid NYS licensed CASAC-T credential required
• Strong interpersonal, communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Valid driver's license, driving record that is acceptable to BHSN's insurance carrier, and transportation for required local travel
