  • The Technical Business Analyst will be an integral member of the Infrastructure & Operations division within the IT Department.
  • This role involves assessing IT systems, capturing and documenting requirements from both business and IT stakeholders, and guiding the development teams' daily operations through Agile methodologies.
  • The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, meticulous planning abilities, and strong analytical problem-solving capabilities. This position requires a balance of business acumen and technical expertise to foster alignment across various business functions.
  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex concepts into accessible language for both audiences.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the technical systems utilized by your team and the operational processes of your business stakeholders.
  • Gather user and technical requirements for new projects and ad hoc inquiries from diverse internal business units.
  • Document requirements and technical specifications with clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Assess the scope of requests and identify potential development iterations to maximize client value.
  • Prioritize and organize the backlog while considering dependencies related to the project roadmap.
  • Facilitate various Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, refinement sessions, planning meetings, and retrospectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the efficiency and velocity of the development team’s processes.
  • Communicate project progress with stakeholders and other IT personnel.
  • Ensure that projects remain aligned with deliverable commitments, occasionally conducting trade-off analyses to inform product decisions.
  • Coordinate technical implementation, testing, training, and communication efforts with various internal business and IT teams, as well as external partners.
  • Serve as an advocate for the product and the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to swiftly and effectively resolve issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in technical business analysis.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices.
  • Understanding of technical terminology, with a preference for experience in Cloud and Infrastructure projects.
  • Strong facilitation skills for meetings and stakeholder workshops.
  • Project management experience is preferred; familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar Agile software is a plus.
