Job Summary

The Sales Associate is responsible for consistently delivering sales plans and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones. This role requires a strong understanding of optical prescriptions, frame selection, and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recommend specific lenses and lens coatings based on optical prescriptions
  • Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate with optical measurements to ensure the perfect vision solution
  • Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed
  • Participate in creating a positive store environment, fostering strong relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff
  • Maintain a clean and organized store appearance, including displays and inventory
  • Contribute to an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year experience in retail or customer service
  • Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, and calculators with basic phone and math skills
  • Ability to sell through the use of sales skills and accountability for sales results
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written)
  • Self-motivation with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment
