Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to join our team at St. David's South Austin Medical Center. As a CRT, you will play a vital role in administering respiratory care to patients, conducting diagnostic procedures, and monitoring treatment responses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and monitor respiratory care treatments, including mechanically ventilated patients
  • Conduct noninvasive and invasive diagnostic tests and monitoring
  • Record pertinent information in patient's medical record
  • Perform cleaning, preventative maintenance, and calibration of respiratory care equipment
  • Function as respiratory care protocol assessor
Requirements
  • Acute care hospital experience preferred
  • Graduate of approved Respiratory Certification Program
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license by the State of Texas
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification as per St. David's HealthCare policy
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification as per St. David's HealthCare policy
