As a Production Equipment Specialist, you will be tasked with operating machinery across multiple workstations. Proficiency in various equipment at your assigned location is essential. Your responsibilities will include machine setups, changeovers, troubleshooting, conducting preventive maintenance, and making informed decisions regarding machine adjustments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Load raw materials into machinery and unload completed products.
  • Adjust and manage the machine cycle, modifying it as necessary.
  • Conduct routine tests and inspections of products for various characteristics using standard measuring tools, making judgments based on established standards.
  • Adhere to production schedules and optimize production sequences for maximum efficiency.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and directives from senior technical personnel, monitoring equipment metrics to ensure compliance with production specifications.
  • Operate forklifts and machinery throughout your shift.
  • Maintain accurate production records and logs regarding equipment and product performance.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and housekeeping protocols, consistently working in a safe manner.
  • Support initiatives focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Assist fellow team members in achieving departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Engage in all necessary tasks to ensure smooth facility operations.
  • Uphold the Company's values daily and comply with all policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, trade school certification, or a combination of relevant training and experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to work overtime, including short-notice requests.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and initiative.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, along with strong communication abilities.
  • Capability to interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
  • High standards of accuracy and attention to detail in a dynamic, multitasking environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
