Job Summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in providing home health visits for our clients in Maryland.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for clients with speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on evaluations, physician's orders, and recommended goals.
  • Continuously assess and revise the speech therapy care plan, and participate with BAYADA clinicians in the multidisciplinary care plan, as appropriate.
  • Provide education and instruction to patients, family members, or other patient representatives on rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote the client's health, safety, and independent living.
  • Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to patient care management and services provided.
Requirements
  • A current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in Maryland.
  • A certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association, or equivalent educational requirements and work experience.
  • Solid computer skills and prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
