CNC Machinist I is responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce machined parts under close supervision. This role offers a unique opportunity for someone to learn CNC machining hands-on through our training program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machines to produce machined parts with high precision and accuracy.
  • Perform quality control checks on machined parts to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and component drawings to understand quality requirements.
  • Conduct dimensional inspections using appropriate gages and fill out parts inspection log sheets.
  • Populate daily production boards with output, quality, and safety metrics.
  • Use scales to weigh and count production pieces.
  • Maintain clean and organized gage tables and work area.
  • Check and record Heat Lot numbers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year of Manufacturing experience preferred.

Working Conditions

Employees in this role will be required to lift, pull, and push heavy objects, stand for long periods, and walk on a production floor.
