Police Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Police Officer to join our team in Washoe County, NV. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining law and order, protecting the public, and upholding the laws of the land.

• Maintaining law and order and protecting the public through proactive policing and community engagement
• Conducting investigations, gathering evidence, and testifying in court as needed
• Providing emergency response and crisis intervention services to the public
• Participating in training and professional development programs to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• At least 21 years of age at the time of application
• U.S. citizen at the time of application
• Nevada P.O.S.T. Basic Category I certification or equivalent out-of-state certification

The estimated salary for this position is $65,915.20 - $90,480.00 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, Washoe County offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, life, and vision insurance, as well as retirement and deferred compensation plans.
