Blender Operator

We are seeking a skilled Blender to join our production team at Ventura Foods LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for efficiently mixing finished products while maintaining the highest possible food safety quality standards.

• Follow batch sheet procedures without deviation, ensuring accurate mixing and blending of products.
• Record data on the mixer SIS form and ensure scanner procedures are followed correctly.
• Communicate discrepancies and ensure that older ingredients are used first.
• Perform sanitation tasks between runs and maintain good housekeeping.
• Operate RF smart and JDE systems, and complete all paperwork in a timely manner.
• Train other employees on all activities and ensure proper rework instructions are followed.
• Follow all food safety policies, procedures, and regulatory criteria, including the current SQF code, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and associated preventive controls.

• High School Diploma/GED
• 1-3 years of experience in a related field
• Experience handling chemicals
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Knowledge of GMP standards and expectations and SQF guidelines
