Empowering Students with Special Needs

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Virtual Special Education Teacher to join our team in Kansas. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in creating an engaging virtual classroom environment for students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customized Learning Plans: Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans, using data-driven strategies to address students' unique needs.
  • Engaging Virtual Instruction: Deliver high-quality lessons in a virtual setting, adapting teaching strategies to support diverse learning styles.
  • Behavior Management: Employ positive behavior interventions and evidence-based methods to foster a supportive online learning environment.
  • Progress Tracking: Regularly evaluate student growth and adjust teaching methods as necessary.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Kansas Special Education Certification: A valid Kansas teaching license with a special education endorsement is required.
  • Experience in delivering online instruction to students with special needs.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with students, families, and school staff.
  • Technology proficiency and comfort with digital learning platforms and assistive technologies.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer competitive pay, with estimated salary ranging from $65,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide:
