Folder Technician

We are seeking a skilled Folder Operator to join our team at EFP Staffing. As a Folder Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and running multiple equipment to include troubleshooting, maintenance, and clean up.

• Setup folding equipment to the proper specifications based on associated documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Monitor and make adjustments as needed to ensure efficient and orderly operation.
• Routinely check fold to assure equipment accuracy and running efficiently.
• Accurately complete paperwork utilizing cGMP requirements.
• Perform equipment maintenance on a daily, weekly, and monthly schedule and as required.
• Produce consistent high-quality work.
• Follow policies and procedures as set forth by management.
• Complete an inspection record at the start of each work order performed.
• Check printed literature against Quality Assurance approved samples, as available.
• Remove and dispose of any unacceptable or inferior printed literature.
• Complete a daily log of orders inspected.
• Communicate with lead, Quality personnel, or supervisor on quality issues.
• Maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition in accordance with good housekeeping, 5S practices, and safety requirements.
• Participate in team collaboration.

• Good mechanical aptitude skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Equipment calibration and assorted hand tools.
• Continual improvement methods.
• Interpretation of customer specifications and work order information.
• Able to clearly write worksheets.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and simple division.
• Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, SOPs, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems.
• Daily interaction with all employees.
• Analytical, out of the box thinker.
