The Boiler Mechanic is responsible for the operation and maintenance of boiler and nearby utilities in Puratos USA factory locations. This role involves daily rounds to inspect and record data of all departmental equipment to ensure safe operation in compliance with relevant state regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily inspections of boiler and utilities to ensure safe operation
- Record data and monitor operating conditions, meters, and gauges
- Perform regular maintenance on equipment and record activities in SAP
- Respond to alarms and equipment failure, notification, and documentation
- Adhere to all training, PPE, GMP, and other requirements
- Valid New Jersey Blue Seal license for boiler operation and maintenance; NJ Black Seal License preferred
- At least 3 years related work experience, including 6+ months in an industrial maintenance related role
- Fundamental understanding of boiler operations required
- Working knowledge of electrical, HVAC, pneumatic, hydraulic, and other mechanical systems
