Job SummaryWe are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team at our Lake Zurich center. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing environment that fosters learning and development in young children. You will work closely with parents and other staff members to provide exceptional care and education to our students.
Responsibilities- Implement our research-backed curriculum in a way that meets the unique needs of each child
- Create a safe and engaging environment that promotes learning and development
- Partner with parents to provide exceptional care and education to our students
- Support the success of our center by working collaboratively with staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
- Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, and community contacts
- Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities
- CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
- Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
- Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
