About the RoleThis is a part-time flex position that offers flexibility and autonomy in your schedule. As a PRN Medsurg Float Pool RN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- Assess patient conditions during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, and ensure thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient's medical record.
- Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Registered Nurse Diploma, Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Master's Degree.
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in a Medsurg or similar setting as a Registered Nurse.
