Job Summary

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting, including assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other support staff, to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patient responses to ensure effective care.
  • Participate in patient education and discharge planning to ensure patients receive the necessary information and support to manage their care at home.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by maintaining open communication with colleagues and supervisors.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
  • 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery or a related specialty.
  • BLS or (HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification.
  • ACLS or (HS-ACLS) or RQIACLS certification.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Acute care facility experience preferred.
