Customer Relationship Manager - Wholesale Partnerships

At Wholesome Goods, we're seeking a highly motivated and organized Customer Relationship Manager to cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships with a variety of clients including independent retailers, specialty stores, and corporate buyers.

  1. Drive Sales and Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, meet and exceed sales targets, and effectively communicate product knowledge to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  2. Lead Outreach Efforts: Proactively build relationships through strategic sales outreach, showcasing your ability to navigate both cold outreach and warm-touch sales strategies to achieve business goals.
  3. Organize and Manage Projects: Stay organized and manage multiple tasks efficiently, utilizing project management tools to handle small projects, track deadlines, and ensure all work is completed on time and to a high standard.
  4. Represent the Brand at Trade Shows: Serve as a brand ambassador at trade shows, engaging with potential buyers and effectively communicating the unique value propositions of our products.
  5. Conduct Industry and Competitor Research: Stay informed on industry trends and perform research on corporate buyers and competitors to ensure we remain competitive in our product categories.
  6. Foster Positive Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, using your personable and approachable demeanor to ensure a positive client experience.
  7. Manage Inventory and Reporting: Utilize data management tools for inventory management and sales reporting, ensuring accurate and up-to-date reporting to support business growth.

Requirements:

  1. In-Depth Product Knowledge: Develop expertise on our consumer goods brands and their target demographics, enabling you to effectively represent, promote, and communicate their unique selling points to retailers.
  2. Proactive Retailer Outreach: Take initiative in reaching out to retailers through strategic sales outreach, cultivating and maintaining relationships to expand our retail network.
  3. Maintain Brand Catalogs: Ensure that our online brand catalogs remain accurate and up-to-date, keeping product listings current and providing retailers with the most relevant information about our offerings.
  4. Data-Driven Reporting: Track your progress and report on key metrics such as sales data and outreach efforts, ensuring transparency and clear communication with the rest of the team.
  5. Driver's License: Possession of a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for transportation to client meetings and other work-related activities.
  6. Travel: Ability to travel up to 25% of the time for client meetings, conferences, and sales visits.
  7. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for handling equipment, materials, or other work-related tasks.

  1. Retail / Sales Experience is a bonus, but not required.
  2. Experience with RangeMe, Faire, or relevant wholesale platforms.
